“To enable individuals to afford, by cooperation with those who do not possess them, the means of acquiring a home and to encourage thrift, by offering a safe investment to those who will systematically save their earnings.”
Abbeville Building & Loan was organized and incorporated on the 5th day of July 1890.
Abbeville Building & Loan’s team consists of experienced employees who specialize in the origination and servicing of owner-occupied residential loans in most of the state of Louisiana.
President/CEO and Board member, Theresa S. LeBouef joined the bank in 1974. Her work ethic and dedication to the bank has contributed greatly to the success of Abbeville Building & Loan over the last 50 years.
Our Chairman of the Board, Jude Duhon, is a long-time member who is an upstanding member of our community. He is joined on the board by Phillip Sellers, Kenneth Taylor, Glenn Lege, and President/CEO Theresa LeBouef. Our Board understands the importance of our community and strives to maintain our reputation as a community bank.
We also provide a safe investment for a variety of accounts to our current customers and residents of Vermilion Parish.
